This concert explores Haiti's dynamic musical landscape, featuring arrangements and performances of a variety of genres, including folk, popular, classical, and jazz. Highlighting Haiti's cultural influence throughout the hemisphere, Frost School’s Henry Mancini Institute Orchestra presents a survey of Haiti's musical contributions and showcases the work of Haitian musicians who embody vital and vibrant connections between Haiti, the United States, and the broader global community.
I will be doing some arranging for this concert and playing flute on a few pieces. In collaboration with the Frost Musicology department.
