Season will perform the work with percussionist Brian Graiser. See their concert blurb below:

The University Percussion Ensemble at Sam Houston State University is excited to present its Spring 2021 concert “CENTURY: The Vibraphone at 100” on Thursday, April 15 at 7:30pm Central Time (U.S.). The concert will be livestreamed on the SHSU Percussion Studio’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/SHSUPercussion.

The concert is one of several events around the world celebrating the hundredth anniversary of the invention of the vibraphone (1921-2021), and will feature performances representative of the instrument’s genre-crossing history. The UPE will be joined by several guest performers, including Season Summers (SHSU Adjunct Professor of Oboe), Trey Clark (SHSU Percussion Graduate Assistant), and members of the SHSU Jazz Program, in presenting the vibraphone-centric program which includes world premieres by UPE Director Brian Graiser and Bryan Kennard, as well as works by Sarah Hennies, Milt Jackson, Alexis Lamb, and Cecilia Livingston. Hope to “see” you there!
